Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://sqllineage-ai.com and the SQL Lineage Analyzer service ("Service") provided by SQLLineage-AI ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

SQLLineage-AI is a browser-based AI-powered SQL analysis tool that generates interactive data lineage diagrams, column-level lineage, PII column detection, and AI-generated summaries for SQL queries. The Service is powered by Google Vertex AI and Google Cloud infrastructure.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Free and Paid Plans

Anonymous (Free): Up to 3 SQL queries per session with no account required. Subject to fair use.
Registered (Free): Up to 5 SQL queries per rolling window. Requires a free account. No credit card required.
Pro (£5/month): Up to 30 SQL queries per 30-day billing period. Billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to adjust plan limits or pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its API
Submit SQL containing live production credentials, passwords, or access tokens
Attempt to circumvent query limits through automation or multiple accounts
Use the Service in a way that disrupts or degrades performance for other users

5. Your SQL and Data

You retain ownership of any SQL queries you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your SQL queries using Google Vertex AI for the sole purpose of providing the analysis. We do not claim ownership of your SQL.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any SQL you paste into the Service. Do not submit SQL containing live database credentials, API keys, or other sensitive secrets.

6. No Warranty — Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
AI-generated lineage diagrams or explanations will be 100% accurate
The Service will meet your specific requirements

No uptime SLA is provided for the free tiers. Pro users receive best-effort availability on Google Cloud infrastructure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SQLLineage-AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption.

8. Payments and Refunds

Pro plan payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance. Refunds are handled at our discretion — contact experiencegcp@gmail.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
